Oskars Amerika plot
Young Oskar dreams of spending the holidays with his mother on a horse in the prairie. However, he collides with the bleak reality when she leaves him with his grumpy grandfather for the summer. She first has to go to America alone to find a job. Levi, a social outsider who talks to his pony, becomes Oskar's only friend. When Levi has to go to a care home and Oskar's mother doesn't return, the two hatch a plan: they will use Levi's great-grandfather's boat and row across the Atlantic to America.
