About 1000 feature films were produced in Germany during the Nazi period between 1933 and 1945. With its own star system and modern means of marketing, the Nazi cinema was about to beat the real Hollywood with its own means. The films were technically perfect, made with great feeling and acted as tools for those in power to educate and manipulate the people through entertainment.
