In war-torn Aleppo in Syria, Syrian civil defense forces, the so-called 'White Helmets', repeatedly offer all their services to help the population. Its founding members include Khaled, Mahmoud and Subhi, who are always there when bombs have exploded or attacks have been carried out, even at the risk of their own lives saving people. For the documentary 'The Last Men of 'Aleppo', the filmmakers followed the work of these volunteers for two years, following them during their operations in the daily threats of the destroyed roads, but also in the battle against their own fears.
