Henry is a loner who lives with his overprotective mother in the small town of Battlecreek. Henry suffers from a rare skin disease that requires him to avoid sunlight and consequently lives his life mainly at night. He doesn't know who he is or what he wants until he meets Alison, who is having car trouble. Henry is immediately attracted to the mysterious woman.
