Donkeyote plot

Manolo, 73, is a contemporary Don Quixote: a romantic who suffers from delusions of grandeur. Accompanied by his Sancho Panza, the (silent) donkey Gorrion, he travels through the Andalusian hills. The stubborn beast is presented as a fully-fledged character: we often see the farcical scenes from his field of view. It proves how inseparable the duo, who already undertook many travel adventures, are. A big trek in America should be the crown on this special friendship. This grand ambition is heard with a chuckle at a travel agency. Nevertheless, Manolo remains determined: nothing will stand in his way.
