The Silent Eye plot

Australian filmmaker Amiel Courtin-Wilson moved to New York a few years ago to visit the city's bars and jazz clubs. He mainly focused on the revolutionary jazz pianist Cecil Taylor (1929), one of the pioneers of free jazz. Taylor used to play with a driving intensity, but now approaches his instrument with a more serene energy.
