American Fable plot
The story is set in the 1980s in the rural Midwestern United States. Brave 11-year-old Gitty discovers one day that her beloved father is hiding a rich man in a family silo in order to save his farm where business is not going well. She is now forced to choose between saving the man's life or protecting her family from the consequences of their actions.
