Solid.

Still a nicer movie than I thought beforehand, which after a somewhat too long introduction really gets going. I am a fan of horror movies that are just a bit more brutal and merciless, although this does not come close to extreme.

In any case, it starts with the acting, which is remarkably good. Most of the names don't exactly have an impressive resume, but this is at least a good warm-up. The bad guys are deliciously dirty, and Dyer & Coupland know how to deliver good performances.

Visually perhaps not the most exciting film, but in the genre it is neatly executed. At times beautifully intensely constructed scenes, and relatively merciless violence that is also necessary in this type of film. Here and there a bit predictable, but still quite hard.

Forests are otherwise well portrayed. In terms of tension not the most exciting event, but by playing with time and violence that comes out a bit more unpredictable here and there it all remains nicely captivating.

Nice movie this, got through it quickly. The first half hour is reserved for introduction, but after that you get a pretty entertaining piece of horror for your teeth. It does not bore, and perhaps has a bit more to offer in terms of content than a general slasher.

Entertaining thriller, with a few drawbacks. Most of the characters are real stereotypes and the ending is disappointing. The director shows little courage, just like the doctor. Should have let that woman run away with the child, taken her husband off the drip or at least given her the middle finger in the final scene. This was really too easy. Nevertheless, not bored while watching.

The first hour of thisDeliverance wannabe can be finished in writing, as Power uses that time solely to introduce the not-so-deep basic story and the accompanying characters. Tension and action only come in the last half hour and that provides some memorable moments, including a baby, but unfortunately it doesn't deviate much from a worn-out formula.
