Thriller??? Extremely thin film with some slaughter scenes that lack an inch of tension.

I think after reading the good review of ikkegoemikke that I should watch Cage's role again, because I missed something. But really, the film is too thin for a re-run.

You can watch it, it's just above the level of a 'total flop', but not much higher.

The film tells the story of the brotherly love between the main characters Grenier and Schaech.

The two stars Cage and Cusack only have a supporting role in this film. Cusack only has a very superficial role in this film and Cage actually makes himself a bit ridiculous with his performance. That wig and moustache were nice. But with this script you can't raise an actor to a higher level anyway. Poorly worked out and no tension at all. A plus point are a few successful bloody scenes and some slow-motion images that keep it somewhat interesting. But as a whole it's only mediocre. 5/10

Clichéd crime film with a number of hilarious action moments, from which director Steven C. Miller clearly draws the most strength. This certainly suits him well within Arsenal, because when it comes to the content, there is very little for the viewer to experience. Screenwriter Jason Mosberg also does not really try to involve any form of originality in the action, which makes the entire first half of Arsenal negligible. The acting is otherwise solid, but no one stands out. The finale is of course what makes a film like this, with effective slow-motion scenes that are remarkably memorable and win the most points for the final assessment.
