Love on the Sidelines plot
Laurel is a fashion designer who is having a hard time. To earn some extra money, she decides to work as an assistant to a football player. The football player, named Danny, is at home with an injury. Laurel, who knows nothing about football, does everything he can to protect Danny's image. She is attracted to him. Danny, who has never had a female assistant before, finds this all too interesting. Slowly something seems to develop between the two.

Well, what can I say... A Hallmark movie of the dime a dozen. Saccharine, lacking in surprises, and very predictable. The plot was simple with few side-effects. I didn't find the main characters particularly appealing, but that might just be personal preference. As the movie progressed, I started to notice more and more minor annoyances: the female lead's excessively thin lips and the male lead's hideous haircut. Maybe I should just avoid Hallmark movies. It would certainly save me a lot of frustration, pffffff...
