"My name is Zunar J 5 Slash 9 Doric 4 7."

Saw this on Netflix and because I am a huge cat lover and I have the signature of the producer of this film, I watched it anyway.

Very bad acting. Ken Berry did a nice job, but it was all pretty fake. Very bad story and pretty dated. The film could have been made in the 1950s for the same money. Some people find Disney's Herbie films very bad, but I always liked them, this print was made later and still significantly less.

The spaceships and futuristic devices are very uninspired and the effects very bad. In the levitation scenes you sometimes clearly saw fishing line and when the cat puts the soldiers on pause, that is really incredibly clumsy.

I thought that cat was really genius (actually two were used for the film). You can train dogs for a movie, but a cat will always do what it wants. The filmmakers probably just filmed that cat for hours and later edited it at a time that suited the dialogue. Probably waving a lot with bagged food and laser pointers and stuff. With older films with animals, the question always remains whether animals have not been abused or even died. With this movie I wondered that too, especially when she stunned the cat, I found it scary.

For kids it will be quite entertaining but I didn't like it that much. In the end it becomes a big gambling commercial. With that title you could have delivered something better.
