"Even if someone else has to lose..."
After both their parents die, 11-year-old Oat, his little sister and his older brother Ek move in with their aunt. Ek works in a bar for male prostitutes and transvestites. Ever since school, he has been in a relationship with Jai, a son of wealthy parents. Their unequal love for each other is put to the test on the day of the annual draft call: a lottery determines who should join the army and who can stay at home.
