Moderate sci-fi.

In any case, it is more modern-fi +1. It takes place in today's world, with one little scientific extra. Unfortunately not very original, it soon becomes clear where this film wants to go and it actually gets bogged down pretty quickly in an average thriller.

I was also a bit shocked when I saw Singh's name at the end. Normally someone who can create a visually unique world, there was little to notice here. It all looked okay, but nothing really special.

Kingsley is doing well, Reynolds is taking over moderately. The story is actually told halfway through, the rest is average settlement. It's all a bit too mediocre to be really interesting or fascinating, which is a shame because Singh used to be able to make his films something more unique. Therefore not better, but more own.

2.5*

Mix of some SF and action. SF is by story only where a mind can be transferred to another body. No visual effects. Action on the other hand because the protagonist is hounded by the medical company that performed this procedure. It never really gets over the top. The action and suspense are all a bit bland. The feeling of empathy and the attempt at some emotion also remains superficial. Idea good, but visually could be better fleshed out. A mediocre performance for me. 3* for the draft.

A reasonable action thriller that doesn't really excel in any area but is fascinating enough. I found it somewhat annoying that there was little line in the editing. And here and there Self/less is guilty of some clumsiness. But with enough action, and a not too long playing time, this is a great snack.
