Fassbinder plot
June 10, 1982. Rainer Werner Fassbinder is found dead at the age of just 37. It is the early end of a genius and outrageous man who has left behind more films than the number of years he has lived. As an anti-bourgeois, he looks through his characters with painful clarity, leaves no subject untouched and creates parable-like film and television stories such as relationships, family, terrorism, anti-Semitism, xenophobia and control. Fassbinder would have turned 70 on May 31, 2015. That is why Anne Katrin Hendel has devoted her documentary to the life and work of this artist.
