L'Avenir plot
Nathalie is a philosophy teacher at a Paris high school, married and mother of two children. She has a busy life, with her family, her demanding mother and a talented ex-student demanding her attention. Then her husband tells that he is leaving her for another woman and her mother dies shortly after. In the period of mourning that follows, Nathalie manages to reshape her life.
