Good film about a woman recovering from a skiing accident and rethinking her marriage. This love drama is entertainingly edited, but the story itself sometimes has a little too much misery, which compromises credibility. Two strong roles by Vincent Cassel and Emmanuelle Bercot, who portray two fascinating characters here.

Vincent Cassel is perfect as the charmer who, with his personality and quick humor, is able to charm many women, while Emmanuelle Bercot - known to me only from "Polisse" and with this "Mon Roi" nevertheless chosen as best actress in Cannes - plays the role plays of the young woman who lets her head spin and whose love is actually based on admiration.
The fact that "Georgio" also has less pleasant, if not selfish, sides and "Tony" can also be less naive, leads to a film that highlights many aspects and situations of the relationship/marriage.
Recognizable and unusual situations follow each other as a rough sketch of what can exist between two people, who are emotionally connected anyway. Emmanuelle Bercot, especially, convinces in the last part of the film, which in a significant final scene contains a certain poignancy and justifies the title. Tony still looks at Georgio with awe and admiration.
It's good that the film is actually structured in flashbacks. With this theme, a welcome and refreshing style exercise.
