Kahraman is a naive and sensible man who earns a living in a beautiful Anatolian town as a servant in a Turkish bath house, inherited from his great-grandfathers. One day, a wealthy contractor named Tuncay from Istanbul arrives in the town. He wants to demolish the bathhouse and the shops around it and build a shopping center there. Hairdresser Cemil, Kahraman's enemy, convinces the shopkeepers to immediately start demolition with Tuncay. Kahraman doesn't want the place where he was born to make way for a shopping center. He also does not believe in Tuncay's empty promises. But he is stuck, because of the debts of his father who was a freebooter. If he doesn't pay the debts, he'll lose the bathhouse...
