Suzuki is contacted by her publisher to write the memoirs of her late husband (Kaoru Abe). Abe was a jazz genius who swam against the tide and was only concerned with finding the purest music. However, his relationship with Suzuki has been turbulent, which is why Suzuki isn't so sure she wants to relive her memories of him.
