Bet Raise Fold plot
Bet Raise Fold follows the birth and evolution of the Internet poker industry during the 2000s and its impact on a new generation of poker professionals. It examines the conflict between the US government and online gambling that eventually led to 'Black Friday', the shutdown of online poker in the United States. The rise and fall of the billion dollar industry is intertwined with the lives of three major characters: Danielle, a young Minnesota mother who uses online poker to support her family, Tony, a polyamorous Las Vegas tournament pro who hosts the World Poker Tour. on television, and Martin, a math genius and 'poker savant' from Australia who uses his poker winnings to travel the world.
