Operasjon Arktis plot
Winter storms are getting stronger and the sun is about to disappear. 13-year-old Julia and her 8-year-old twin brother and sister Sindre and Ida are left alone on the deserted island of Spitsbergen in the Arctic Ocean by a grave mistake. Nobody knows where the children are. They have to overcome their fears and dangerous situations: wild animals, extreme weather conditions, lack of food and how to communicate with the mainland. An exciting fight for survival ensues.

So exciting that I had to check from what age, because I want to enjoy this movie with my grandchildren. Exciting, beautiful children's film in which children will certainly be able to empathize with the 3 child actors. I love the nature images; they remind me of the film by Stijn Coninckx, 'And then the light came'.

Nice movie. A fun and captivating story. I didn't get bored with it. Well played too. The polar bear looked well made in my eyes, but that doesn't make the film less good for me. Great entertainment and also quite exciting. A 7. 3.5*

A nice family film to watch with your slightly older children. For the little ones among us, the polar bear might be a bit too frightening. In the lead roles three children who manage to end up on a polar base.
Quite an entertaining story. Of course it all ends well, but it is interesting to follow the events of the children. The poles are fascinating anyway. This movie had my daughter on the edge of her seat. And here is also an ecological lesson from the melting of the ice caps, which is causing polar bears to starve.
