Fúsi plot
Fúsi, 43, still lives at home with his mother. He sleepwalks through everyday life where routine is the key word. When one day he meets the lively Sjöfn, his single life is completely turned upside down. Finally, he seems ready to step into the adult world, be vulnerable and start real life in good spirits.

This bachelor is a bit like Marty, albeit a lot more hopeless. The 40-year-old fat man without prospects wouldn't hurt a fly, but is bad at socializing. Any attempt to break through its isolation seems doomed to failure, just as Iceland is doomed to remain an island. The woman he comes into contact with,, is bipolar, tumbling back and forth between desperation and future plans. Bullying at work is an infrequent topic. What a wonderful movie. So powerful and pure acting that it feels like you are watching a documentary. Modestly portrayed how you can be thrown out of balance and therefore grow, because you look at the world through new experiences with new eyes.

Nice film about an obese 43-year-old man who still lives with his mother. The film certainly starts off well, but at a certain point the course becomes a bit predictable and some of the changes in his life are a bit forced. The main character is beautifully portrayed, partly due to the modest role of Gunnar Jónsson. Just not 3.5 stars.
