When Will Ferrell is in it, it usually tends to be a good movie. Well I have to admit that this was not one of his best movies. but despite everything I give this one a 5 too

Just watch if you're looking for a simple humor movie... nice sitback.

You can of course be bothered by the parade of stereotypes, especially since the screenplay was written by three white men, but the main joke is that both protagonists believe in stereotypes themselves. Ferrell and Hart are perfectly cast as James King, respectively, a financially successful but otherwise utterly despised multi-billionaire who faces a prison sentence in Saint Quentin and Darnell Lewis, the owner of a cash-strapped garage who helps his wealthy client to survive. to prepare for life in prison, even though he is a model citizen who has never had any contact with the police. Darnell's impromptu training camp gives James' staff a chance to pay their boss back in the same coin in this often hilarious comedy that at times teeters on the edge of the intolerable.

The worst Ferrell movie I've seen so far. In terms of humor, Get Hard is a bit cruder than, say, an Daddy's Home, and you would expect that to play in favor of the film, but unfortunately that is not the case. It often doesn't get beyond some infantile sex jokes, and any punchline of a built-up joke is invariably very standard and bland. In any case, I hardly had to laugh, although Will Ferrell fortunately knows how to conjure some crazy faces and quotes out of his hat. A funny actor who rarely plays in a really successful funny movie; that's how you can sum up his career. Kevin Hart isn't bad individually either, but the interaction and bond between the two main actors never becomes believable, funny or catchy. Since there are also very few nice side characters in the film, you really have a problem. Fortunately it is not a long seat, but this was really very poor. 2*.
