Dick Is Boos plot

Comic artist Dick Matena gained fame with his drawn version of Reve's De Avonden. He had already worked for years at the Toonder Studios on Bommel and Tom Poes, signed for Eppo and made controversial free work as De Prediker. He does not want to be called an artist, but to his chagrin, comics are hardly taken seriously in the Netherlands.
