"Winning is not about where you’re from—it’s about how well you play."

The Vancouver Asahi baseball team is made up of second generation Japanese immigrants to Canada. Their team plays in the local amateur league. Because of their fair play, the team becomes popular, but at the same time they struggle with discrimination and poverty in their normal lives.
