Not even very bad in design, but a slightly better script and a longer running time would have done the film a lot of good. It's not even Polat's fault, who also has to manage with wooden lyrics. Nasr too, but he does that remarkably smoothly and is the only one natural and credible enough. Furthermore, the punchline can be seen from miles away, the ending is certainly rather amateurish, everything is rushed quickly and the film also just looks like a cheap TV episode. Too bad, because the film does not really bore. 1.5*.

Not really a great movie. The acting of the actors is not that strong. Somehow I don't get hit.

Despite her professional shortcomings and a negative assessment, police officer Nurgül [Meral Polat] is 'loaned' to the Amsterdam police for several months. The fact that she speaks Turkish makes her ideally suited for her new manager [Romijn Conen] to go undercover as a waitress in the restaurant of mafia boss Fatih [Ergun Simsek], who is involved in a conflict with Ole Chramtcov [Vitali Oussanov]. Her assignment coincides with the return of her brother Gokhan [Ali Ben Horsting], who has fallen from grace for 20 years and now shows up to say goodbye to his terminally ill father [Sinan Bengier]. Conen's screenplay has few surprises and a melodramatic denouement, but Polat is excellent in the leading role and Ben Horsting and Simsek are also very convincing.
