We Are the Giant plot

Revolutions have always been there, as have charismatic leaders in the fight against oppression and corruption. Some of them have iconic hero status, such as Thomas Jefferson, Che Guevara, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela or Aung San Suu Kyi. Others remain more in the background but are no less important in fueling change. Archive footage of illustrious predecessors frame the candid stories of six extraordinary citizens from Libya, Syria and Bahrain, who dedicate their lives to the fight for freedom and democracy in their country. Supported by sometimes shocking newsreel fragments and images taken on the street with simple cameras, the enormous courage, personal sacrifice and misery involved in a revolution is outlined.
