The Red Tent plot

Her name is Dinah. She is mentioned only sporadically in the Bible in a few chapters of her more famous father Jacob and his dozen of sons in the book of Genesis. Dinah's story begins with her mothers: Leah, Rachel, Zilpah, and Bilhah, the four wives of Jacob. They love Dinah and give her gifts to support her during her hard childhood, a vocation as a midwife and a new home in a far and strange land. There is also the 'Red Tent', a place where the women of Jacob's tribe are secluded during birth, menstruation and illness.
