What was the question again? Whether Jennifer can or does anything else than show off her voluptuous body in outfits that apparently have been skimped on the dust? No, actually not, you have already named all her qualities.

What a slow, unspoken film. Cinema worthy? Not at all! Not only is Jennifer quite disappointing, the character Noah is also extremely annoying, right from the start. I didn't feel the chemistry between the two either, which is quite necessary if you want a story like this to come out well. Although I wonder if this could be saved anyway, because the story is not only very standard and predictable, but also too meager to convince. Halfway through the film you realize that you still have quite a while until the credits, after that it becomes a boring, long session.

Mme.

Cohen seems to be falling more and more into a lazy director. Started off reasonably well, although I haven't seen much of his older work yet. But those were the times when his films were still known and in some cases even got 8 sequels.

I can hardly believe that this is from Cohen, because this is quite lazily put together. A dubiously simple story that actually seems to aim for few goals, apart from entertainment. That kills the film.

Had thought beforehand that especially Lopez did the film, but she still comes out pretty decent. The acting isn't bad either, but not very good either. Corbett also seems to be withdrawing more and more into these kind of TV-style movies.

The story is simple, but there's a lot going on and that's why it's all entertaining. Although it sometimes seems to feel a bit random and relatively largest events (the broken brakes) seem to be secondary in the following scenes. In that respect, the film is really too easy to direct.

It is entertaining, but I feel too little skill in the film. It's too good and certainly from a relatively experienced director like Cohen you expect something more than this kind of simple cinema.

Very bad and that is mainly due to the plot that is completely unrealistic. The main character thinks she's in a blackmail situation all the time, but she's not. She has already confessed to her husband that she slept with someone, that it is with a school student, will not cause her any problems, because he is already of age and it also happened before he became a student, she is being pawed at by the school management accuses him, but at that time he has already been suspended for violence, of which the management should also be aware. In short, it is all rather nonsensical. The outcome is also easy to predict. Jennifer Lopez is not a top actress, but this couldn't have saved Meryl Streep either. 0.5*.
