Asthma plot

Gus's life is literally and figuratively stifling and building a meaningful existence seems an impossible task for him. His asthma attacks crop up at the most impossible times and are a constant reminder of his failure. Then, among all the drugs, lack of money and overpowering sense of alienation, he sees a bright spot: Ruby, a confident rocker with her life on track. In an attempt to escape himself, he embarks on an unpredictable journey in a stolen convertible.
