Net op de BBC geweest. Altijd goed op zich, historisch drama. Echt een film die ook in de jaren 50 of 60 kon zijn gemaakt. Veel dramatische blikken en dus closeups. Veel acteurs die later vooral bekend werden kunnen spotten. Werd veel tijd genomen om richting het onafwendbare eind toe te werken.
