Whitstable Pearl plot
Now that her son is an adult, single mother Pearl pursues her lifelong dream and starts a private detective agency, which she runs from her family restaurant in the coastal town of Whitstable. Attracted by her caring nature, the locals soon come to her with all kinds of business. But when a friend dies in a suspicious way, Pearl comes into conflict with the surly new cop in town, Mike McGuire.
