The Virtues plot

With no immediate family to live for, Joseph is haunted by a past he's been trying to forget for decades. With a big hangover, he walks away from his current life and gets on a boat to Ireland to battle hazy, frightening memories of a childhood spent in the health system. Joseph reunites with the incredulous Anna, the sister he hasn't seen since childhood. Anna convinces her wary husband Michael to let Joseph stay and give him work in the family business.

Super hardcore series, phew. What a pain and what a rendition by Stephen Graham. Such a great actor, never disappoints and gives everything he has when the role demands it. The other actors were also very convincing.

Could just use some prose now. I will therefore not recommend it quickly, even if it gets 4.5 stars from me.
