The Tower plot
An experienced cop and a teenage girl die in a high-rise block in south-east London. A five-year-old boy and rookie Lizzie Griffiths are left behind on the roof, but are missing. Detective Sergeant Sarah Collins is deployed to find Lizzie before she is seriously injured, as well as to uncover the truth behind the horrific deaths at the tower block.

Actress Gemma Whelan may not be that charismatic, powerful detective, as they are usually portrayed, but perhaps all the more suitable as an inspector to experience that such a police force does not just let people look inside their own kitchen, especially not when that is precisely the assignment and the course of events makes it necessary.
Moreover, she does not receive the faith and support of those who should give it, especially if she is not already betrayed by it.
Two new aspects in such police series. Could interest me.
