For me it's going a bit too much towards the last seasons of The Walking Dead.

In terms of toughness, in terms of "the others", in terms of taking revenge....

I never played the game(s) and enjoyed the first season....

It's nice that we get some background information on Dina in episode 5. I had a problem with how easily Dina went along with Ellie's lust for revenge, but now I understand it a bit better. Excellent acting by Merced in that particular scene. For the rest, episode 5 has some gruesome and exciting moments. Especially the last part, and a certain scene with the Scars, are excellently done. Not the best episode of season 2, but I still look forward to a new episode of this great series every week.

I thought episode 6 was very strong. I haven't played The Last of Us part 2 yet (I bought it on Friday) so I can't compare it to the museum, but especially Pedro Pascal has two really brilliant scenes. The last scene on the porch between Joel and Ellie was emotional. Joe Pantoliano also had a great role as Eugene.
