The Kettering Incident plot

Anna Macy left Kettering when she was just fourteen years old, shortly after her best friend disappeared while they were playing in the woods. When Anna returns fifteen years later, the town struggles to survive. The community is torn by conflict between environmentalists and loggers. Anna's return also causes quite a stir. There are theories and rumors about what really happened to the girls that night - from Anna killing her best friend to alien abduction. Then another girl disappears. Anna is determined to discover what happened, uncovering deeply buried secrets about herself, Kettering and her inhabitants.
