The Chair plot
dr. Ji-Yoon Kim takes on a new role as Chair of the English Department at prestigious Pembroke University. Ji-Yoon faces a unique set of challenges as the first woman to lead the department. She is also one of the few coloreds who are staff members at the university. She tries to meet the sky-high demands and expectations of the failing English faculty.
