So Long, Marianne plot
Lonely Canadian Leonard Cohen travels to the Greek island of Hydra in the hope of finding himself. It is the 1960s and Hydra is a place where, among the local fishermen, many wandering artists live. One of them is Norwegian Marianne Ihlen. The two fall in love during a period in their lives when they are trying to figure out who they are and what their place in the world is, while one of them becomes one of the most famous singers of all time.
