SAS: Rogue Heroes plot
It is the summer of 1941, in Cairo during the Second World War. A young officer named David Stirling has a radical plan that goes against all modern rules of war: to attack the enemy where they least expect it, behind their own lines. Despite intense opposition from many, Winston Churchill personally authorizes Stirling to recruit the strongest, brightest and most ruthless undercover soldiers he can find for one of the most interesting military organizations in the world: the British Special Forces, known worldwide as the SAS.

This is actually my first review here but thought it was worth creating an account for it. WW2 fascinates me anyway, but this series is just well put together and also largely based on truth.
Lots of humor, good actors. Including the lead actor who is also in sex education. So I am pleasantly surprised. That's why 5 stars, this one is in my top 5 series.

GREAT series; Now watch episode 6 of the 1st season!
The general public is little familiar with the people and history of the SAS and the LRDG during WW2... Hence not a large viewing audience.
Apart from a few poetic liberties, I think the story is mostly correct.
I have been a very interested WW2 adept from an early age, often down to the details. This series is a treat.
