San Guo Yan Yi plot
In AD 184, the Han Dynasty is attacked by an army of insurgents known as the Yellow Turbans. The insurgents are defeated, partly with the help of the still relatively unknown Cao Cao, Sun Jian and Liu Bei, but after the victory the country is defeated. When Emperor Ling dies a few years later, the manipulative Dong Zhuo manages to put Ling's much too young son Liu Xie on the throne and thus indirectly rule the country himself. Many warlords come into action against Dong Zhuo, with the main contenders being Cao Cao, Sun Jian and Liu Bei. Is the future of China in their hands?
