The problem with this production is that it's all far too much. Too many rabbits out of the hat, too many twists, too many cliffhangers from one episode to the next. Especially don't think about plot holes, because then you won't get anywhere.
Ava Baya's lead role is decent enough, but otherwise, she's mostly subpar—especially Adjani. Not only does that Patti Smith wig not suit her, but she's simply completely miscast.

A wonderfully original series, unpredictable until the very end (although the buyer is, of course, familiar). It's nice that for once an inspector isn't the hero and is constantly chasing the facts.
