Poldark plot

18th century soldier Ross Poldark returns to his hometown in England after fighting in the American Revolutionary War. However, he finds his hometown in a completely different state than when he left. Not only does he have to adjust to life as a civilian again, but also to the fact that his great love seems to have slipped away from him. In addition, Ross becomes embroiled in a feud with local industrialist George Warleggan.
