Medici plot

Thanks to a contract with the Papacy twenty years ago, Giovanni de Medici has transformed his family wealth into an unparalleled economic force. Giovanni is suddenly murdered and his sons, Cosimo and Lorenzo, must face the enemies who want to chase the Medici away. Cosimo begins an affair with Maddelena, a slave who becomes the mother of his son. When the investigation into Giovanni's murder is in full swing, an old enemy appears: rival banker Pazzi.
