Malpractice plot

Doctor Lucinda Edwards is a smart, combative doctor. At one point, she faces a nightmare, which ends with the death of Edith Owusu, an opioid overdose victim. Despite the support of her medical supervisor, Dr. Leo Harris, Edith's grieving father demands an investigation into Lucinda's actions on the fateful night. The medical examination is led by Dr. Norma Callahan and Dr. George Adjei. While George feels this was an inevitable tragedy, Norma is suspicious of Lucinda's behavior and decisions leading up to Edith's death.
