Inside Man plot

In the United States, Jefferson Grieff, a death row inmate, seeks reconciliation as his execution looms. Journalist Beth Davenport is on a train in England looking for a story. Harry Watling, a pastor from a quiet village, picks up his son's math teacher from the station. All four are about to get caught up in a dilemma that could lead one of them to murder.

I'm definitely a fan of Tennant and Tucci but I just really disliked this series. Thought it was a comedy series for a while, but honestly I found the humor very bland and the story too silly to even speak of a bit of suspense. No it went in all directions but unfortunately never the right way.

There was only one positive thing, it was over relatively quickly....

The makers should have watched the movie Fargo, that's how it's supposed to combine suspense and humor!!!

I watched the series, but why? Maybe I was hoping for improvement and a logical ending, but unfortunately neither of them came.

The series doesn't seem to be able to choose between drama and comedy, although I doubt it was unintentionally comical, but because of this it's just not to be taken seriously. In addition, the many (very many) illogical choices that the characters make...

What is just very clever about this series is that with some very good actors you can still deliver a turd like this!
