On a midsummer evening in 1973, two tourists are found murdered in a tent. That happened near the Swedish mountain town of Blackwater. The unsolved crime casts shadows over several people's lives and continues to haunt them almost twenty years later.

Series filmed in a beautiful environment with a few well-known actors and actresses in the cast. Peter as the leader of the commune in particular stands out in terms of role. The story itself is well put together and contains a number of errors as far as the perpetrator(s) are concerned. The build-up and development is slow and thorough. Perhaps all a bit too detailed compared to the completion. It's quite thin. In terms of atmosphere and setting, the whole is excellently depicted, especially with regard to life in Peter's commune.

Typical Swedish series that relies on strong atmosphere creation and acting. It takes a while to get into it, everything is a bit slow and there is no real tension in the first episodes. But once you're in it, it looks pleasant. Switching between the commune and the world outside works well. The episodes are a bit on the long side.
