Eternal Law plot

In the old English city of York, angels live among the people. They help and guide people when they are most desperate. Zak is a grumpy and ancient angel who has been through it all. He returns to Earth with newcomer Tom, who has never spent time with humans. They live in a dilapidated house full of books and paintings where they are cared for by the mysterious Mrs. Sheringham.
