East Los High plot

East Los High is about a group of teenagers living in a fictional inner-city high school in Los Angeles, California. Jessie, a studious virgin, and Maya, a troubled runaway - who falls in love with Jacob, a popular soccer player, are nieces. From a love triangle, Maya and Jessie must make real-life decisions involving sex, drugs, pregnancy, infidelity and peer pressure that determine who gets the boy and will mark their lives forever.
