Deep State plot

Max Easton is a former spy whose past comes back when he is called away from his new life in the Pyrenees by George White, head of the secretive MI6/CIA team 'The Section'. White convinces Max to return to avenge the death of his estranged son Harry. The stakes are raised when Max finds himself at the heart of a covert intelligence war, plunged into a widespread conspiracy to take advantage of the spread of chaos in the Middle East. Max enters a dangerous game as powerful corporations show they are willing to go to great lengths to protect their reputation and bury their secrets.

Nee deel 2 is een stuk minder dan deel 1. Dit ligt aan de slechte acteerprestaties van Harry en Leyla. Er is totaal geen chemie tussen hen en hun rol is ook niet spraakmakend. Ze maken de ene verkeerde inschatting na de ander. Begon echt irritant te worden. De serie wordt gered door het verhaal en de steengoede bijrollen.

No, part 2 is a lot less than part 1. This is due to the poor acting performance of Harry and Leyla. There is absolutely no chemistry between them and their role is not high profile either. They make one misjudgment after another. Started to get really annoying. The series is saved by the story and the excellent supporting cast.
