De Man met de Hamer plot

After more than twenty years of absence, the energetic Kasper unexpectedly shows up at his father's auction house. He was pleasantly surprised to say the least. At the time, Kasper left for obscure reasons abroad with the Noorderzon, but now, much to the dismay of his father, wants to pick up his life in the Netherlands again. While a love-hate relationship develops between the two, little by little what has happened in the family in the past and the real reason that Kasper ever left his parental home in a hurry is unraveled.
