Chicago Med plot

Chicago Med is an emotional rollercoaster through the daily chaos of the city's busiest hospital and the courageous doctors who keep the hospital afloat. They will tackle unique new cases inspired by current events. Gradually they create a bond with the hectic pace of the operating room in the background. Familiar faces from the Chicago Police and Fire Department will lend a hand so that the third team of Chicago heroes can do their job in the best way possible.

Chicago Med is het jongste lid van de Chicago Franchise van Dick Wolf. Het gaat over het reilen en zeilen van de Emergency Room van het Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. Ze hebben een revolutionaire emergency trauma bay genaamd Baghdad waar spoedeisende operaties verricht kunnen worden, vergelijkbaar met een veldhospitaal in een warzone vandaar de naam Baghdad. Het is een enerverende serie met goede characters en interresante en meeslepende verhalen. Hoewel het een op zichzelfstaande serie is hebben ze wel interactie met de andere Chicagoseries zoals bij alle series in het Dick Wolf Universum het geval is. Met name de paramedics van Chicago Fire lopen geregeld door het beeld. Er is ook geregeld een crossoverepisode met 1 of beide series en ook Molly's bar is de stamkroeg van de dokters en de verpleegsters. Voor fans van de andere series uit de Chicago Franchise is het zeker een aanrader.

Chicago Med is the youngest member of Dick Wolf's Chicago Franchise. It's about the ins and outs of the Emergency Room at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. They have a revolutionary emergency trauma bay called Baghdad where emergency operations can be performed, similar to a field hospital in a warzone hence the name Baghdad. It is an exciting series with good characters and interesting and compelling stories. Although it is a standalone series, they do interact with the other Chicago series as is the case with all series in the Dick Wolf Universe. The Chicago Fire paramedics in particular regularly walk through the image. There is also a regular crossover episode with 1 or both series and Molly's bar is also the favorite bar of the doctors and nurses. It is definitely recommended for fans of the other series from the Chicago Franchise.

Geen idee waarom dit zo hoog beoordeeld is. Kijkt lekker weg hoor, maar verder een serie die volledig in het bekende ziekenhuissjabloon valt. Dan toch liever New Amsterdam, die is wat pamfletterig maar daardoor wel origineler.

No idea why this is rated so highly. Looks nice, but otherwise a series that completely falls into the well-known hospital template. Then I prefer New Amsterdam, which is somewhat pamphlet-like but therefore more original.
